In the 2018 edition of the Thomson Reuters "Diversity and Inclusion Index", Hera, with a score of 73,5 points, was the second company in Italy and the 22nd in the world and first multi-utility globally. The company made it known, specifying that the research examined a sample of over 7.000 listed companies globally.

The Diversity and Inclusion Index is an index conceived and created by the international financial information giant Thomson Reuters, which analyzes the performance of companies on the basis of multiple factors, attributable to four areas: diversity, inclusion, people development and controversies related to media exposure.
