The group of dissidents is born Pd to the Chamber. He met today for the first time in the Chamber of Deputies Article 1 – Democratic and progressive movement. The group, born on February 25 after the split within the Democratic Party, is made up of 37 deputies: some former Sel are also added to those who left the Democratic Party.
It was the opening of the meeting Roberto Speranza, who proposed the former Dem as group leader Francesco Laforgia, immediately elected unanimously: “We must attack – said Speranza – the large existing political space. Many accessions have arrived in these hours. The strength of our parliamentary groups is one of the starting points. We must build together the political project to be brought to life outside, in the country”.
The assembly of deputies of the Democratic and Progressive Movement, which ranks to the left of the Democratic Party, elected Francesco Ferrara, formerly of SEL, as deputy group leader. Delia Murer and Lara Ricciatti are deputy group leaders. Instead, the group's treasurer is Danilo Leva.
