Din-Doc: the denomination of origin wine told like a comic strip on the Federdoc channels

A format of 6 episodes of about 3 minutes each is kicking off on the various social channels of Federdoc Din-Doc which, with a simple and fun style, aims to involve even newbies, curious to deepen their knowledge of topics that are often difficult to understand for the uninitiated in the world of denomination of origin wine. The protagonist will be Tinto, alias Nicola Prudent, well-known radio and television host and television author who roams, like the new Roger Rabbit, between cartoons and special effects, taking the viewer by the hand on a journey into the fascinating world of wine.

“If there is one criticism that is frequently leveled at those who talk about the world of wine, it is that of using language for insiders – comments Riccardo Ricci Curbastro, President of Federdoc – It happens in tastings, where some terms are unsettling. Let alone when issues such as labelling, specifications, the control system or the quality pyramid have to be addressed. With Din-Doc we wanted to try to propose a simpler and more engaging approach”.

An original initiative that arouses curiosity, and which has already collected many contacts from the presentation trailers that have already been conveyed through the Federdoc social channels (Facebook, Instagram, and the dedicated website, DinDoc.it) for several days; quick and fun pills, also appreciated by the younger audience, which demonstrate how it is possible to propose apparently complex topics, using a language capable of creating immediate empathy. Especially if it is Nicola Prudente, aka Tinto, who does it, an insider in the world of wine who for years has adopted a non-academic style to tell the territories, labels and stories that characterize the sector.

"I am convinced that simplicity always ends up being an added value - says Tinto - And this is why I welcomed Federdoc's invitation with great pleasure to participate in this adventure which has all the characteristics to be appreciated even by those who are not he has a daily relationship with wine but he is certainly curious to know its many facets".

The operation, which also counts on the contribution of the Mipaaf, also has the right characteristics to be able to continue in the future with new episodes.

"By borrowing the language of the television series, let's say that these 6 episodes could constitute a sort of first season - concludes Ricci Curbastro - But there are so many themes to explore that we could certainly decide to put new episodes in the pipeline right now, especially considering the satisfaction we encountered, especially among the younger groups, during some "previews" that we used to test the format".
