Digital Magics, business incubator listed on Borsa Italiana's AIM Italia, launches "Magic Wand": the first acceleration program in Italy dedicated to the FinTech and InsurTech sectors aimed at early stage startups, which are developing innovative and original businesses for the financial market and insurance, with services and products on banking and payments, investments, loans and crowdfunding, platforms, infrastructures and technological tools.
The 10 program partners, who will actively participate in the selection, mentorship and development phases of the selected projects, are: BNL BNP Paribas Group, Credito Valtellinese, Ersel Investimenti, Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, Innogest, Poste Italiane, SellaLab, SisalPay , Società Reale Mutua di Assicurazioni and UBI Banca.
The goal is to create an Italian center of excellence: a real system alliance of the most important market operators, to accelerate Italian FinTech and InsurTech startups that are working on scalable models capable of competing internationally and to innovate the sector of finance and insurance.
The program will allow the selected startups to benefit from the participation of important mentors and advisors from the financial and corporate world, from cash grants useful for the development of the project and for the finalists the possibility of accessing investments from Digital Magics, the Innovation Center of Intesa Sanpaolo, Innogest and SellaVentures (Banca Sella Group).
