Net income for the first nine months was €2,4 billion, up 2,7% year-on-year. Furthermore, investments increased by 26,8% at Group level in the first nine months of the year, reaching 7,6 billion euro. The most important growth driver, the company specifies in the note, was represented by the United States, where investments increased by over 50%.

"After an excellent second quarter, these figures are further proof of our strength," said René Obermann, Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Telekom. “In the US, we have managed to achieve an impressive turnaround and in our home market, we display a stability that makes many companies in our industry envious.” Deutsche Telekom has confirmed its guidance for the full year 2013. Adjusted ebitda continues to be estimated at approximately €17,5 billion at the end of the year and free cash flow is expected to be in the area of ​​€4,5 billion at the end of 2013 .
