Deutsche Bank ready to maxi-cut 25 jobs

Deutsche Bank, the first bank in Europe, intends to cut 25 jobs, almost 25% of the group's total workforce.

The first 15 thousand employees could be sent home with the spinoff of the Postbank division, expected in 2016. The news was reported by the Reuters Agency which, citing informed rumors of the facts, recounts how John Cryan, number one of Deutsche Bank, would have spoken of the project during the weekend of meetings with the supervisory board.

At the moment no denial has been received from the German institute.

We remember that Deutsche Bank is currently in the midst of a reorganisation, part of Cryan's plan to improve the bank's profitability, through spending cuts and cancellation of some areas of activity. The project will be completed by the end of October and also provides for the exit from 10 countries in which the group is present, the closure of 200 branches in Germany and the conclusion of investment bank operations in Russia should be cancelled.

Currently, the bank's stock gains 0,2% against an index, the Dax 30, up 0,1%.
