This morning in Frankfurt the police carried out a search of the Deutsche Bank headquarters, in the context of an investigation relating to tax fraud against the German state linked to CO2 emission rights, which would have been carried out by some managers of the banking institution.
At least 25 employees are already under investigation and an arrest warrant has already been issued against 5 of them. Already last December five managers involved in the scam were fired by Deutsche Bank, which in a statement released today said it wanted to fully cooperate with the authorities.
