Il the auction world follows the contemporaneity of this new company, sectors such as design or luxury vintage but also vintage posters and themes such as comics they seem to discover new fashions that they like more and more.

You change auction houses for example, in its Milan office, the auction dedicated to design saw a large participation and various bidders, many of them foreign, with constant increases on the estimated basis.
Here is the chest of drawers Gio Ponti of Dassi Production (around 1950), made of wood with brass support, based on an original design for the furnishings of the Royal Hotel in Naples, was sold for 50.000 euros.

Furthermore, by Gio Ponti, one of the most appreciated and internationally recognized designers, a low table from 1932, with a metal and glass structure and a mirrored colored glass top, and a beautiful model 811 armchair, with fabric covering and structure in wood and elastic bands (Prod. Cassina of 1957), were sold for 21.000 euros and 12.500 euros.

Di Max Ingrand two Dahlia model 1563/A chandeliers with brass structure and colored, curved and ground crystal diffusers, produced by Fontana Arte in 1954, which together fetched 54.000 euros.

Also on this day, Cambi hosted the auction of Vintage Posters in its headquarters in Via San Marco 22 in Milan, which attracted several lots from the most important names in the sector. The award the most significant was the Fiat 520… Optima!, a large original poster from 1928 by Plinio Codognato, which fetched 15.600 euros.


Other posters by Leonetto Cappiello, including Bitter Campari from 1921 and Contract from 1922, fetched €5.600 and €2.900.


Present works by Armando Testa, the Caffè Paulista Lavazza catalog and an executive in tempera on cardboard for an original poster from 1959, which fetched 5.300 euros. Finally by Nicola Diulgheroff the famous original Cora Amaro poster from 1930 which was sold for 4.200 euros.
