Design at auction, Mollino, Mendini, Pesce up to Fran Campo and Carlo Graffi

Cambi Auction House  prepares and dedicates to design two auctions, the first on May 15th and 16th and the second two at Fine Design in June. Catalogs with interesting proposals, such as the Alex chaise longue by Atelier Mendini proposed at the last Fuori Salone in Milan 2017, but also classics from the 50s such as the pieces designed by Gio Ponti or the lighting by Gino Sarfatti and Angelo Lelii.

There will also be some pieces of Carlo Mollino – which is attracting great interest from collectors – such as one of the armchairs designed for the Turin auditorium, estimated at between 4 and 6 euros. “The interest in the world of Design is constantly growing and requires ever greater innovations and possibilities of choice” – so Piermaria Scagliola, director of the Design department - .

Among the most interesting lots in the catalogue, a LIB2 bookcase by Ignazio Gardella, with uprights in enamelled iron and brass and wooden shelves, estimated at 15.000-20.000 euros, and an important Architecture model chest of drawers with a lacquered and screen-printed wooden structure by Piero Fornasetti , which will start from an estimate of 10.000-12.000 euros.
