Def, Renzi: "The covers have always been there"

Def, Renzi: "The covers have always been there"

“The covers are there from day one. They've been ready for 20 days." The reassurance comes directly from the Prime Minister, Matteo Renzi, and the reference is to new Document of economics and finance which the Council of Ministers will approve this evening.

The convocation of the CDM is for 18, but the Premier - arriving this morning at the States General of Health - assured that "we will not do midnight: we will finish in time for the news".

For the rest, Renzi has postponed tonight's press conference after the Council.

Meanwhile, however, the Minister of Labor Giuliano Poletti confirmed that in the Def there will be 6,6 billion euros in cuts and the 80 euros more in payroll promised for over 10 million workers.

“The cuts should absolutely be confirmed – the minister said this morning in an interview on Canale 5 -. I think the basic elements are clear: we are working to reduce spending and to ensure that the 80 euros are there. And that seems out of the question to me."
