Ristori bis decree: another 1,5 billion is on the way

After the new Dpcm on local lockdowns, other funds will also arrive to help the VAT numbers and the artisans most affected by the closures, especially in the three Regions that are about to enter the "Red Zone"

Ristori bis decree: another 1,5 billion is on the way

Together with new Dpcm on lockdowns soft and differentiated, the Government is also preparing to launch another Ristori decree, whose value should be around one and a half billion euros. Not an astronomical figure, but an initial support especially for VAT numbers and the artisans who, in the red areas, will no longer be able to work. The confirmation came via social networks from Laura Castelli, Deputy Minister of Economy.

Compared to first decree Ristori – launched at the beginning of last week for a value of just over 5 billion – the new measure will have to provide for a more laborious mechanism for distributing funds. The main objective is in fact to strengthen aid for the three Regions which will soon find themselves in Red Zone: Lombardy, Piedmont and Calabria.

In particular, they will be increased the appropriations for all the activities that will pass from partial to total closure, such as bars, restaurants, pubs, pastry shops and ice cream parlors.

Other funds will go to activities that have so far remained open, but that, not included among the essential services, they will be forced to close once the new Dpcm comes into force.

The decree-bis should also include the categories left out of Ristori-uno, i.e. those who collected the aid allocated in April and May with the "Relaunch" decree, when about 12 professional categories received aid from 600 to one thousand euros.

There would then be other categories excluded from the first decree, such as lawyers, accountants and commercial agents, but also cleaners and precarious workers with collaborations of less than 5.000 euros, already the subject of protests in recent days.

"It's not easy - the other Deputy Economy Minister admitted on Monday, Antonio Misiani – But we will try to lend a hand to all the activities involved: the measures will vary according to the categories involved and the Regions ".

But dominating such a multifaceted reality will be really complicated, also because there is no time to think. In fact, the Government aims to launch the Ristori-bis decree at the same time or immediately after the new Dpcm with the anti-contagion measures, which should arrive by today.

In any case, Palazzo Chigi has already clarified that the new decrees will not require further budgetary deviations.
