Decree of Fare, Government beaten twice

Passes the amendment proposed by the PDL and the Lega to abolish the new rules on access to the judiciary competition – The Executive had given the opposite opinion, but the change was nevertheless approved.

Decree of Fare, Government beaten twice

Government beaten twice in the Senate on an amendment to decree of doing. The proposed change concerns the new rules for access to the judiciary competition. It was presented by the Northern League and the president of the Justice Commission, Francesco Nitto Palma (PDL).

The aim of the amendment is to abolish a measure that allows access to those who have completed an internship in judicial offices. The Executive had given a contrary opinion, but the amendment was nevertheless approved: the first part with 205 votes in favour, 38 against and six abstentions; the second with 184 yes, 61 no and 11 abstentions.

Yesterday the Government had already given an unfavorable opinion on an agenda - later approved - which called for a stop to the tax on mobile phones.

The examination of the decree will resume at 15 pm in the Hall of Palazzo Madama. The last issue to be resolved is the possible modification of the law on simplifications in private construction: in particular, the measures on renovations that change the shape of the buildings are in doubt.

The works will therefore restart in the early afternoon to allow the government and the majority to find an adequate solution to protect the historic centers.
