Coca-Cola Plus makes its debut: no sugar and burns fat

No sugar, no fat, just the taste of Coca Cola but what matters is the addition of dextrin, a source of dietary fiber which – according to Coca Cola – limits the absorption of fat during a meal. The world debut of this new drink has taken place in Japan since the end of March, which has twelve years of studies and trials behind it. Hence the highly authoritative Foshu (Food for specified healt uses), the Japanese certification body that recognizes the medicinal effects of the foods examined, drew the conclusion - after in-depth analyzes - that this Coca Cola can really limit the level of triglycerides in the blood after meals. Why Japan?

First of all because, like Italy, it is a country with a high level of elderly people, so much so that it is recommended to drink the drink after the age of 40 when the evil effect of excess fat begins. And then Japanese consumers are very sensitive to "healthy" drinks, one might actually say "they drink" them all. In reality, the health of the Japanese is indisputable, they have elderly and older people in excellent shape precisely because of their search for healthy foods and traditional foods which, like the Mediterranean ones, are a panacea for health. Then the choice of Japan is strategic: the Foshu institute has considerable authority and allows the new beverage to be given the image of a healthy product with proven effects on triglyceride levels.
