The first phase of the payment of public administration arrears is nearing completion: €13,8 billion paid to creditors out of the €18 made available to debtor entities by the Treasury – Phase two, worth €7,2 billion, is ready.

The first phase of the payment of the Public Administrations' arrears continues and has reached an advance of 69%: of the 18 billion made available by the Treasury to the debtor entities, in fact, to date, 13,8 billion have been remitted to the creditors.

In comparison with the data released on 24 September last, the progress in the payment of healthcare debts (+240 million) and in the use of financial space under the Stability Pact by the Regions (+575 million) stands out. The Treasury will now start the second phase of 7,2 billion: the meetings of the technical tables have already been convened.
