"If for some reason our credit is used for other purposes, those who govern us know that the relationship with entrepreneurs will be irreparably compromised". This is the warning launched today by Giorgio Squinzi, president of Confindustria, speaking on the problem of public administration debts at the annual meeting of Federchimica.
“I have committed myself with all my strength – continued Squinzi – to an unexpected but decisive ally, the president Giorgio Napolitano, to whom all my gratitude and our applause go. I thought of it as a real financial maneuver for companies, unexpected and that many gave up for lost. We didn't make it as we wanted, but we continue to work to improve it”.
"Instead of responding with a burst of pride and renewal, politics - Squinzi said again, speaking in general of the economic crisis that the country is experiencing - has lost itself in tactics, wasting precious time and energy on marginal issues for the well-being of citizens ”.
