Competition law: government puts trust in the Senate

The provision, approved in commission without modifications, faces the last step before final approval. Insurance, pharmacies, energy, taxis are the most important chapters.

The Minister for Relations with the Parliament, Anna Finocchiaro, posed the question of trust in the Senate Chamber on the bill on competition on the text returned by the chamber. The session was suspended for the meeting of the Conference of Group Leaders on the timing of the vote.

The provision, which arrived in the Senate from the Chamber after a laborious parliamentary process that lasted over two years, is in the final test. With the vote of confidence in the classroom at Palazzo Madama it should be definitively approved and become law.
