Denmark: stop to tax incentives for electric cars. Splash the price of Tesla

Bad blow in Denmark for the electric car sector. The new government in Copenhagen has just announced the abolition of the incentives for the electric car which will cause the price of vehicles such as those of Tesla to soar. According to an initial projection, the price of the Tesla S will go from just over 87 euros to 241.250 euros.

The Danish government, in office for about three months, has taken two important decisions for the electric car sector. The first is the gradual abolition of the incentives which will lead to its total cancellation by 2020, followed by the abolition of the pollution tax, thus making cars equipped with diesel engines less attractive.

With this decision, the Danish government completely changes course for a country, Denmark, always at the forefront of environmental protection through state incentives. The former Minister of the Environment, as reported by Milano Finanza, commented on the government's announcement as follows: "This government only supports old technologies and has no vision of the future".
