From Allegri's Juve to Inzaghi's Inter: what an earthquake on the benches

Of the top 10 teams in the Serie A standings, only Milan and Atalanta have confirmed their coaches – For the rest it was a whirlwind with Allegri, Simone Inzaghi, Mourinho, Spalletti great protagonists – And it's not over yet

From Allegri's Juve to Inzaghi's Inter: what an earthquake on the benches

Now that Napoli has also announced, as expected, the arrival of Luciano Spalletti, we can say that the waltz is almost over. Of course, Lazio is still missing, which for the post Inzaghi thinks of one between Sinisa Mihajlovic (the fans' favorite), Sarri (the most appreciated from a technical point of view, but there is distance on the salary) and Walter Mazzarri (l 'outsider), but most of the games have been played, at least in Italy. Never before have the big names decided to change en masse this summer, just think that, of the top 10 in the standings, only Milan and Atalanta will remain with the same coaches and the argument is even more valid by broadening the horizon to the others, where only Genoa and Cagliari will not touch anything. Pioli, Gasperini, Ballardini and Semplici back in the saddle, the rest is pure revolution: Inter took Simone Inzaghi, Juve Allegri, Napoli Spalletti, Roma Mourinho, Fiorentina Gattuso, Torino Juric.

Lazio, Sassuolo, Sampdoria, Verona, Bologna, Udinese and Spezia, albeit for different reasons, they do not yet know who will lead them towards their respective goals and also the only certain among the newly promoted Salernitana, who have already confirmed Castori (then we will have to understand how Lotito will solve the timeshare problem, but that's another story), while Empoli and Venice must do accounts with the many suitors of Dionisi and Zanetti. In short, it will be a brand new Serie A in every sense, because changing coach means changing everything, from tactics to athletic training, up to, of course, transfer market strategies. It's difficult to comment now on what the best marriages might be, given that much will depend on purchases and sales, but we may already have some ideas. Inter, to date, is the greatest unknown, because going from a serial winner like Conte to a young (albeit already experienced) like Inzaghi is definitely a leap in the dark.

It is evident that Marotta would have gladly done without this, but the different views led to a divorce, moreover without even attempting a comparison (the long-awaited vis a vis with Zhang, in fact, did not even take place own will of the club). Will Inzaghino be able to make Antonio forget? We'll see it, but it certainly won't have an easy task, especially since the property guidelines provide for a fairly clear downsizing (Hakimi is already on the starting foot). The move by Juventus, on the other hand, is much more convincing after the Pirlo bet he put himself back in the hands of a top manager like Allegri, already capable of winning 5 championships, 4 Italian Cups, 2 Super Cups and two Champions League finals in black and white. Max will have the car keys in all respects, so it will be up to him to shape the new Juve and his background authorizes us to think that he will do it in the best possible way. The choice of De Laurentiis also inspires confidence, who with Spalletti finds a reliable and capable coach, even if it is good to understand what the seasonal objective will be: qualifying for the Champions League, in fact, is the specialty of the Certaldo coach's house, winning something, instead, it is already different.

Great anticipation then for the return to Italy of Jose Mourinho, who arrives in Rome with an immense curriculum (by far the best of all), but also with a couple of heavy failures to overcome. The Mou of a few years ago would authorize even dreaming of the championship, that of Manchester United and, above all, Tottenham, does not even give guarantees for qualification for the Champions League. Much, however, will depend on the transfer market they manage to make for him, but it is clear that Friedkin has chosen him to make a difference, regardless of the men. Judgment also suspended on the marriage between Gattuso and Fiorentina, both eager to relaunch after the failures of this season, while Cairo's choice to bet on Juric is convincing, at least on paper, whose combative style goes well with the tradition of Turin. We will understand the rest along the way, although it is conceivable that the games will be completed within a week, a bit everywhere. Then it will be the turn of the players' market, but if the good morning starts in the morning, then we'll see some really good ones.
