From the single contract to the unemployment benefit, here is Renzi's job-act

Permanent employment contract with increasing protection, universal allowance for those who lose their job (but with the obligation to follow a training course and not to refuse a new offer), single federal agency that coordinates the employment centers , reduction of contractual forms, trade union representatives elected by the workers on the board of directors of large companies, abolition of the chambers of commerce. All enclosed in a new labor code, to be implemented within eight months, which encloses and simplifies all the rules. These are the fundamental points of Matteo Renzi's "Job-act".

The document - anticipated last night by the secretary of the Democratic Party - is not yet definitive. The draft will be sent shortly "to parliamentarians, clubs and insiders to ask for comments, criticisms and additions", explained Renzi, specifying that the leadership of the Democratic Party will discuss the plan on January 16th. Today the secretary will talk about it face to face with Prime Minister Enrico Letta, but the first discontent is already arriving from his party mates: Cuperlo is willing to discuss a single contract with progressive protections provided that article 18 is maintained even in the drafting phase. insertion.

In addition, the "Job-act" will include real industrial plans for seven sectors: culture, tourism, agriculture and food, made in Italy, Ict, green economy, new welfare and construction. Renzi then proposes the adoption of a general principle: "Those who produce work pay less taxes, those who operate in the financial sphere pay more, allowing for a 10% reduction in IRAP for companies": the goal "is to create jobs of work by making the system simple, encouraging investments by our entrepreneurs, attracting foreign capital. The gap between Italian and European companies is unsustainable and weighs on productivity. The first sign is to reduce the cost for companies by 10%, especially for small businesses, which are the ones that suffer the most".

The plan also envisages “the elimination of the obligation to register with the Chambers of Commerce”, whose functions will be “assigned to public territorial bodies”, and “the cancellation of the position of permanent manager in the public sector. A civil servant is indefinitely if he wins competition. Not a manager – concluded Renzi -. Stop the overwhelming power of ministerial bureaucracies".
