From Wednesday 19st May, the curfew will be postponed for 1 hour, passing from 22 am to 23 pm. Then from 7nd June will shoot from midnight to definitely go in the attic from June 21st, when the curfew will no longer exist. This is what was established by the Government after the Council of Ministers which approved the new decree with immediate effect on reopenings and the control room convened by Draghi to take stock of the epidemiological situation and understand the existing margins for reopening.
Thanks to the rise in temperatures and the progression of the vaccination campaign, there are improvements: the pressure on hospitals is decreasing and all the Regions show encouraging parameters. A situation that has prompted the Government to speed up reopenings, already issuing a new decree today.
CURFEW
The curfew will proceed gradually, but quickly.
- From Wednesday 19 May it will be moved forward by one hour, from 22pm to 23pm.
- This will continue until June 7, when it will be further postponed to 24.
- If the epidemiological situation continues to improve, the curfew will be definitively eliminated from 21 June.
An ad hoc derogation on the curfew is foreseen for the Atalanta-Juventus Italian Cup final, scheduled for Wednesday 19 May at 21:00.
THE REOPENINGS
From 1 June it will be possible have lunch and dinner indoors in restaurants and bars. The gyms will finally be able to reopen from May 24, while for indoor swimming pools you will have to wait for July 1, the date on which they will also reopen spas, betting rooms e casino. From the weekend of May 22-23, doors open in the shopping centers. Green light to parties and banquets for the weddings from 15 June, but if indoors guests will need a green pass. From the same date they will also reopen the theme parks, while from XNUMXst July i cultural, social and recreational centres.

THE RT INDEX
The parameters by which the color of the regions is decided also change. Under the new rules, to determine whether a region deserves the white, yellow, orange or red band will take into account theRt hospital, a parameter based on hospitalizations in wards and intensive care units and not on the number of new infections. It will also be crucial the incidence of new cases per 100 inhabitants.
- The red zone will start with over 250 Covid cases out of 100 inhabitants;
- the orange one, between 150 and 249 cases;
- the yellow, between 50 and 149 cases;
- the white under 50 cases.
The effect is immediate. From June XNUMXst Friuli Venezia Giulia, Molise e Sardinia they return to the white zone, which instead will start from the 7th in Abruzzo, Veneto and Liguria. White zone means the abolition of all restrictions, including the curfew.
