“We need to take care of the body and the soul”. Again it is Brunello Cucinelli to interpret a growing trend in the Italian professional panorama: workers today tend to prefer time, culture and flexibility to money and a career. The cashmere entrepreneur has therefore launched the culture bonus: the benefit includes a fund of 500 euros for singles and 1000 euros for those with families. To use it, just bring the receipt and all expenses to the company: cultural activities for books, cinema, theater and trips to the museum will therefore be reimbursed within that ceiling.

A strong idea, promoted without blatant announcements and consistent with the philosophy of the Umbrian manager: "The culture bonus also helps to encourage the rediscovery of Italy's immense cultural and artistic heritage: because creativity is where there is beauty". “With us - Cucinelli also recalls - we work from 8 to 17.30 and we have the fear of lunch. Then it is forbidden to be connected during extra working hours. I don't want to receive emails or text messages after hours, I can't tell you how I respond, and the same goes for my collaborators”.

Cucinelli gives work to 1.400 employees, of which 900 in the village of Solomeo (Perugia), a sort of happy island of work, where there are no major differences between workers and employees. “Even the salaries are similar. Ours is a classic company: the craftsman's work is hard and repetitive. And if I make you work overtime, I'll steal your soul”.
