Cromaplast, control of the company to Stefano Tecchio

The corporate reorganization of Cromaplast, a Vicenza-based company in the automotive sector, is under way. The controlling share passed to Stefano Tecchio, former shareholder and general manager of the company, of which he has now become managing director. The family buy-out operation, which coincided with the transformation of Cromaplast into a joint stock company, was supported by Unicredit, which provided the financial resources and advisory services needed to close the deal.

Following this reorganization, which also involves aspects of corporate governance, the company will be able to strengthen, with a view to business continuity, its growth plans based on greater openness to the market and on the development of industrial and commercial synergies.

“We have completed this operation, for the success of which the support of Unicredit was fundamental - said Tecchio - in order to complete the generational handover and thus guarantee continuity and full corporate efficiency. Cromaplast will now be able to focus again on its ambitious goals and embark on new growth paths, both structural, for internal lines, and by seizing any market opportunities".

Cromaplast specializes in injection molding and galvanic treatment for the automotive industry and in the assembly of automotive components; the company closed 2016 with a turnover of almost 28 million euros, of which 73% deriving from exports and international business. Cromaplast currently employs 160 people.

The minority shareholders were assisted in the operation by the Hilex law firm with the lawyers Maurizio Traverso, Fabio Cappelletti and Emanuele Breggia and, for the tax aspects, by dott. Giorgio Orlandini, while Stefano Tecchio was assisted by the lawyers prof. Federico Casa and Silvia Rosina of Studio Casa e Associati and Studio Mercanti of Valdagno.
