Crisis, Unioncamere: for two thirds of companies the situation will not improve in 2013

The crisis is a tunnel whose end is not yet in sight, destined to continue also in 2013. It is the Italian companies who think so, as demonstrated the research by Unioncamere, carried out as part of the annual Eurochambres survey (Asspcoazopme of the European Chambers of Commerce), which involves 53 thousand industrial and service companies distributed in 29 European countries.

For the current year, in fact, the indicator relating to confidence in business (derived from the difference between those who trust in a general improvement and those who, on the other hand, fear a deterioration) stands at -28,4%. A figure that is based on the decline in the performance of all sectors, with the exception of exports, for companies, and which produces a generalized negative sentiment: -33,1 the balance between expectations of growth and decrease in turnover, -38,9 that relating to sales on the domestic market, -16,5 employment, -10,5 investments.

Situation that is improving, while remaining negative, for 2013, now upon us. 62% of operators are confident in a situation of substantial stability, eroding the percentage of pessimists, while 16,3% believe that business will improve. The confidence indicator therefore shows a -4,7%.
