Credem aims at 1,2 billion in new deposits by 2018

Credem announces the objectives for the new 2018 funding. In detail, the private banking division led by Gianluca Rondini expects to reach the end of the year 1,2 billion euro of new funding and 1.500 new customers.

Half of the road has already been covered in the first half, when the group recorded 600 million euro of new inflows, of which over half in managed products, to reach 19 billion euro of assets under management, 11 of which in assets under management. In addition, relationships with 840 new customers were activated between January and the end of June.

"The construction of an organizational model and the hiring of competent professionals is not enough to implement a wealth planning model", he declared Gianluca Rondini, "Indeed, private bankers need a strong awareness of the opportunities connected to non-allocative issues, a new set of relational attitudes to consciously govern relationships with the various players involved, whether they are customers, private individuals, internal advisors or external professional firms and greater awareness of various strategic issues for customers”, added Rondini. “The validity of this paradigm is reflected in the fact that one of the most significant sources of growth over the past three years has come from customer assistance in the delicate phases inherent in M&A, a very active market for some years now with over 150 billion in value over the last three years which requires a high level of professionalism and a service model capable of supporting customers on several fronts”, concluded Rondini.

The Credem private banking division refers to the wealth management area, coordinated by Matthew Benetti, which brings together the four wealth management networks of the group, with total volumes of 35 billion euro.
