Credem: Avvera is born, a company specializing in loans and mortgages

The Credem group has created a new company: Avvera, specialized in the consumer credit market.

Avvera was born from the transformation of Creacasa Srl (active since 2017) and has the objective of "creating a new highly specialized hub in private credit to support the projects of Italian families", explains Credem in a note.

The new company will adopt a multi-channel and multi-product distribution model, it will deal with the iMortgage brokerage (approximately 450 million euros a year) for new customers of the group, and operations involving a more than 80% financing of property value (LTV).

“Credem branches – continues the note – will continue to follow the operations of current customers with LTV equal to or lower than 80%”.

Avvera will also become the only consumer credit product factory of the Credem Group, through the direct disbursement of personal loans and salary-backed loans (approximately 260 million) through its own dedicated agency network and the development of agreements with other banks and brokers.

The new company, which will present the strategic guidelines and business objectives in October, "can already count on an agency network specialized in mortgages, resulting from the transformation of Creacasa, made up of 174 agents, 41 corners within the Credem branches and 8 points in the main Italian cities which will soon be joined by a network of agents specialized in consumer credit (salary-backed loans and personal loans) from Credem made up of 89 agents in financial activities and 125 collaborators", Credem says.

The managing director and general manager of Avvera is Lorenzo Montanari, while the president is Claudio Zara, aggregate professor at the SDA Bocconi School of Management.

“The company's positioning is further strengthened by the new brand capable of reaching the public with extreme simplicity and which will allow us to distinguish ourselves very clearly from the rest of the market. In fact, our business model will be multi-channel and multi-product, always in strong synergy with the network of Credem branches, but we will also turn to the open market by entering into agreements with banks and financial institutions. I am convinced there is enormous potential to be developed and we have managed to build an energetic and determined management, which we have deliberately contaminated with acquisitions from outside precisely to make our skills excellent”, declared Montanari.
