Salini-Impregilo could intervene to save Astaldi. This would be the most probable solution among those evaluated by investment banks. The news was released by ilsole24ore.com, according to which the hypothesis has been circulating among sector operators for some time, but only after Astaldi's recent decision to proceed with a blank composition with creditors would it have become topical again.
The general picture, however, is complex: the risk of overlap between the two operators is high; consequentially; any possible move must be evaluated with caution, above all with reference to the economic-financial terms.
