Poste Italiane with the largest land fleet in Italy, a Cargo airline, 12.800 Post Offices, 27.000 postmen and women is available to deliver all the anti-Covid vaccines, to every corner of Italy. He announced it the Co-General Manager of Poste Italiane, Giuseppe Lasco, interviewed by TGPoste recalling that the company has already made available to the Regions a platform dedicated to tracking and administration that allows you to book the vaccine via ATM Postamat, online, through the call center or postmen.

“We have a network of 27.000 postmen – said Lasco – the largest company fleet, an air fleet dedicated exclusively to cargo and the most advanced technological system infrastructure in the country. We have the capacity, organization and strength to deliver vaccines nationwide. Poste Italiane puts itself at the service of the country”.

The Co-General Manager of Poste Italiane then announced that he had asked the Ministry of Health and the Prime Minister to grant company employees a priority status in the vaccination campaign: "the vaccination of our colleagues - explained Lasco - first of all those who are at the forefront, it is a dutiful act on the part of the institutions. Millions of people enter our post offices every day. For us there are no yellow, orange or red zones, for us it has always been a white zone; in moments of great criticality, our post office colleagues and our postmen continued to provide essential services, in all circumstances and in all situations”.

Post: Lasco, more than half of post office managers are women

More than one Post Office manager out of two is a woman, confirming the role played by women in the Group led by CEO Matteo Del Fante. This is what the Co-General Manager Giuseppe Lasco recalled, underlining that for the second consecutive year Poste Italiane has entered the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index, the international reference index on gender equality.

"This is an element of substance", explained Lasco, speaking to the microphones of TGPoste (visible on Postenews.it). “We are the largest company in the country in terms of number of employees and more than 50% are women”. As a further demonstration of Poste Italiane's attention to gender equality, "more than 50% of post office managers are women," said Lasco.

For Poste Italiane, 2021 began with numerous awards that reward the company's policies in the field of sustainability. First of all the Top Employer 2021 certification which rewarded "what the company has done for safety in the workplace, in a difficult year like 2020, as well as the results obtained in the field of training: over 5 million hours of activities that involved 97% of colleagues”.

Furthermore, BancoPosta Fondi was the first Italian asset management company to obtain ISO 37001 certification on anti-corruption management systems. Brand Finance then recognized Poste Italiane among the 50 most influential brands in the world. “Four years ago – explains Lasco – we weren't in the top 300. Today our brand is 39th in the world. This is the compendium of ability, organisation, corporate personality, structure and group strength”.
