After i negative numbers published today by Istat on the Italian market, the construction sector it is confirmed to be in great difficulty also at the continental level.
According to data released by Eurostat, in November the production index fell on a monthly basis by 0,6% in the Eurozone and by 1,1% in the European Union at 28. In October, however, there were decreases of 1,1% and 0,3% respectively.
On an annual basis, the relative decrease in November reaches 1,7% in the Eurozone and 1,6% in the EU. Our country recorded one of the most significant contractions on the continent: -10,8% on year and -2,6% on month, after -3,2% in October.
