As regards spending on public infrastructures, the positive percentage changes, according to Cresme, will not be limited to 2015. In fact, the Roman research center estimates an increase of 4,2% in 2016 and 6,2% in 2017 Moreover, between 2014 and 2020 spending in this sector will grow, according to Cresme estimates, by 36,4%.

Thanks to public works, the construction sector will thus be able to resume its march, but the main construction sector in Italy remains that of residential renovation, which is now worth 72% of the sector, also due to the collapse of the new construction sector in recent years residential. On the other hand, this year the new residential construction sector fell by 9,3%, while that of residential renovation rose by 0,8%.
