Costa Cruises cancels all calls in Tunisia

The Costa Cruises company has announced the cancellation of stopovers in Tunisia after the attacks in the Bardo museum in the capital Tunis – The stages will be replaced by alternative stopovers that have not yet been defined.

After theattempt yesterday at the Bardo museum in Tunis, the company Costa Cruises announced in a statement that it has decided to cancel all future stopovers of his ships in Tunisia.

“The safety of guests and crew is the priority for Costa Cruises and it is a necessary condition to offer serene and pleasant holidays", says the group in the note, specifying that the stopovers in Tunisia will be "replaced by alternative stopovers which are being defined". 

It is not the first time that the routes of cruise ships have been changed due to attacks and security alarms: for a period, after the attacks in Luxor, itineraries in the Red Sea with stopovers in Egypt were also cancelled.
