Cortina d'Ampezzo, a summer with over 200 cultural events

August in Cortina d'Ampezzo with Margherita Buy, Mariasole Tognazzi, Matteo Marzotto, Carlo Cracco, Paolo Mieli, Corrado Augias, Guido Barilla, Claudio Sadler, Andrea Illy, Flavio Caroli, Andy Cave, Simon Yates and Piotr Anderszewski – These are just some of the great personalities expected in Cortina for the month of August.

Over 200 CORTINAèCULTURA events, 12 demonstrations and 8 exhibitions scheduled until the beginning of September including art, journalism, literature, cinema, music, food and wine and entrepreneurship,
 
The show cooking and starred four-handed dinners continue Colorkeys. The kitchen becomes art, the original photographic project by Alfonso Catalano who obtained the patronage of Expo 2015 and who brings the great Michelin-starred chefs to Cortina, from Claudius Sadler (August 5) a Valentine Mercattili (August 8), Stefano baiocco (August 23), Gianfranco Perbellini (September 5) e Aurora Mazzucchelli (September 6).

On the stage of Cortina Croda – the event dedicated to mountain culture – are expected Andy Cave (August 2), Simon yates (August 30). The review of cinema, art and literature dedicated to life at high altitudes will be the scenic backdrop to Andrea Gaspari's flash mob dedicated to Angelo Dibona, for which the public will create a mandala of 8×8 meters with various natural mountain materials (August 16), and of the show Flamenco Moon Gypsy on August 23 signed by the Lisa Flores Company.

Carlo Cracco (August 6), Paolo Mieli (8 August)Corrado Augias (August 15) e Guido Barilla (August 21), will be some of the illustrious guests of A Mountain of Books, the series of meetings with the most relevant personalities of Italian and international culture, fiction, journalism, organized by Francesco Chiamulera, Vera Slepoj and Alberto Sinigaglia.

Art of August, the series of meetings of and on contemporary art organized by the Mario Rimoldi Museum of Modern Art in collaboration with the historic Sovilla Bookshop, is awaited among others Flavio Caroliengaged in a lectio magistralis Contemporary painting from romanticism to pop art Saturday 17 August and Bernard Aikema that on August 19 Titian will tell.

In the meantime, the two exhibitions of the summer continue until 6 October: Mario Sironi. 40s and 50s. Selected works from the Mario Rimoldi and Antonio Allaria collections (inauguration on 16 August at 18.30 pm), curated by Claudio Spadoni and Alessandra de Bigontina, in collaboration with the Ludovico degli Uberti Foundation and Charles Ramous. A life path curated by Walter Patscheider, whose vernissage is set for 19 August at 18.30 pm.

The music of Dino Ciani Festival and Academy will hand over the piano to Plamena Mangova (August 4) and Piotr Anderszewski (August 10). A seventh edition which confirms the high level of concerts which saw great international masters of classical music play in the heart of the Dolomites, always under the artistic direction of Jeffrey Swann.

Italian cinema will instead be the protagonist at the Cristallo Hotel Spa & Golf on August 24th: arriving Maria Sole Tognazzi e Margherita Buy, director and actress of Comedy Silver Ribbon, Solo Travel, here for a special presentation to the public (with screening and by invitation).

Talking about the current economic and entrepreneurial situation in our country Matthew Marzotto (August 26) president of the Cuoa foundation e Riccardo Donadon (August 22), president H Farm speakers within Beautiful country that changes, the first edition of a series of meetings wanted by professionals in the sector.

And yet: Giampietro Marchiori (August 5), president Eie Group e Rodrigo Basilicati (August 18), director Studio Pierre Cardin Paris are included in the calendar of You Cortina, the new meeting format organized by the Salone d'Impresa.

And Cortina will also christen the project Altagamma territories e Italian Style Itineraries.
