Coppa Italia: tonight Milan-Juventus, first round with Ibrahimovic

The first of a series of three decisive matches between the two teams is staged at the Meazza: today the first leg of the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia with the Swede on the field, who instead will miss out (barring appeals) due to disqualification in the big championship match on 25 February – The return of the cup on 21 March – Alessandro Del Piero also plays tonight – The other semifinal is Siena-Naples.

Coppa Italia: tonight Milan-Juventus, first round with Ibrahimovic

The truth in a month and a half. Between now and March 21, Milan and Juventus will compete three times: the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-finals, scheduled for tonight at San Siro, the return on the first day of spring and above all, in between, the Scudetto match again at the Meazza on 25 February.

The one that, after the nonsense of the now famous pat trimmed to Aronica in the match against Napoli, he will not see the Rossoneri's key player on the pitch (barring appeals): Zlatan Ibrahimovic, disqualified by the sports judge for three days for that gesture (which he himself defined as "bullshit").

Tonight Ibra will instead be regularly on the pitch, for what on paper is the least important of the triptych of challenges. The Rossoneri coach Allegri but don't think so: "Winning with Juve would do us a lot of good", and throws fuel on the fire on the controversy following the decision of the sports judge, who indirectly did a favor to leaders Juventus, who in turn protested for a clear penalty denied in the home match against Siena. “I don't know what Marotta's statements create, but Milan and I have a different style. There is a lot of talk about helping the referees and instead at the first unfavorable decision a fuss is raised”.

Marotta, for his part, flaunted fair play on the Ibra case ("the Swede has been off for 2 or 3 days, but we'll prepare the game as if he were there"), continuing however to draw attention to the disputed episode which is probably cost the victory against the Tuscans: “I simply wanted to call on the arbitration body to pay more attention to designationsI think it's my duty. I have always witnessed the designation of experienced referees for the first in the class, I was not referring to incapacity or bad faith. We have millions of fans who are asking the club to protect themselves."

In short, Diavolo and Vecchia Signora attack each other from afar, through televisions and newspapers. Question and answer without half measures. Sharpen your weapons, let's start the psychological warfare against the referees, because tonight's match (with Ibra) is worth a piece of the Italian cup final and because the match on February 25 (probably without Ibra) is worth a piece of the Scudetto.
