THEInter still enjoys. The 77th edition of the Coppa Italia turns black and blue, despite an excellent performance Fiorentina who returns home with her head held high, but unfortunately for her with empty hands. The trophy, in fact, ends up on the notice board in Viale della Liberazione, moreover for the second consecutive year: Simone Inzaghi thus confirms himself as the absolute specialist of the event, in light of the three victories as a coach which add up to the same number as a player.

And to say that the match had begun in the sign of Fiorentina, able to find the lead after just 3' with Nico Gonzalez, left guiltily too much alone by the Nerazzurri defence. “You can't break down after a game like this, with Inter they've always been tight since last year and for me it's a great pride to put them in difficulty – the thought of the Italian -. The bitter defeat, you can't imagine how much we wanted to give this joy to our fans, but we come out with our heads held high and with so much inside for the Conference final in Prague. We were facing the Champions League finalist, it was unthinkable not to concede goalscoring chances. We tried to leave as little as possible, but then we conceded two goals that were avoidable for me, even if a champion like Lautaro decided it. We fully deserved the draw, unfortunately the episodes made the difference”.
