Found the square on one of the most anticipated appointments of the legislature. L'former defense ministerae current deputy of the Democratic Party, Lorenzo Guerini is the new president of the Copasir the Parliamentary Security Committee which exercises control over the work of the Italian secret services. 

Guerini was elected during today's meeting of the Committee which has ten members, divided between representatives of majority and opposition. By law, the presidency belongs to the latter. Guerini, in fact, got 9 votes out of 10. It is the second time that the ex-minister finds himself leading Copasir: he had already covered the role in the first part of the last legislature. 

Copasir: the other appointments

The deputy of the Brothers of Italy John Donzelli was elected as vice president, while Hector Rosato, deputy of Az-Iv is the new secretary. The organism is now complete.
