during his speech Micillus wanted to underline how “the challenge posed to the banks by the big ongoing changes in the climate is that of a continuous adaptation of the business model to the evolutions in the field of sustainability. The market has shown a significant increase in the last 3 years: from September 2019 to September 2022, globally, ESG loans have grown with a CAGR of 80% and ESG bonds have followed a similar path with a growth of 49 %".
