Inps 2020 contributions: the point on postponements

When was it postponed? the payment of INPS social security and welfare contributions? Which activities benefit from the extension? With circular number 64 of 28 May, the social security institution takes stock of the postponement of the obligations that the Government has launched in several stages in recent months, superimposing three decrees (Care Italian, Liquid assets e Bid).

The most significant measure in terms of number of people involved is precisely the suspension of the terms for the payment of INPS social security and welfare contributions. At the beginning, the stop was foreseen from the 2 March to 30 April, but then the date was gradually moved forward: the latest postponement, contained in the relaunch decree, is at 16 September 2020.

The suspension of INPS contributions affects the managers of various activities. Here is the list contained in the Institute circular:

a) tourist-accommodation companies, travel and tourism agencies and tour operators;

b) national sports federations, sports promotion bodies, professional and amateur sports associations and clubs, stadiums, sports facilities, gyms, clubs and structures for dance, fitness and bodybuilding, sports centres, swimming pools and swimming centres;

c) theatres, concert halls, cinemas, discotheques, dance halls, nightclubs, gaming halls and billiards;

d) lottery offices, lotteries and bets;

e) organizers of courses, fairs and events;

f) restaurants, ice cream parlors, pastry shops, bars and pubs;

g) museums, libraries, archives, historic sites and monuments, botanical gardens, zoological gardens and nature reserves;

h) nursery schools and day care services for disabled minors, educational services and kindergartens, first and second degree educational services, professional training courses, sailing, navigation and flight schools, which issue patents or licenses commercial, professional driving schools for drivers;

i) non-residential social assistance activities for the elderly and disabled;

l) spas and wellness centres;

m) amusement parks and theme parks;

n) bus, railway, underground, sea or airport stations;

o) freight and passenger transport services by land, air, sea, river, lake and lagoon, including funiculars, cable cars, gondola lifts, chair lifts and ski lifts;

p) rental services of land, sea, river, lake and lagoon means of transport;

q) rental services of sports and recreational equipment;

r) guide and tourist assistance activities;

s) bookstores not managed by publishing groups;

t) non-profit organizations of social utility, voluntary organizations and social promotion associations.
