State contract: arrears and increases, here is the news on salary

An agreement awaited nine years. After the go-ahead from the Court of Auditors, the long-awaited signature for the new state contract has arrived. The changes will concern about 250 workers of the central Public Administration.

The major trade unions (Cgil, Cisl, Uil, Confsal and Cisal) and Aran, the agency that handled the negotiations on behalf of the Minister of the Pa, Marianna Madia, signed.

But what does the new state contract provide for in terms of salary? First of all, the arrears will be paid at the end of February: a variable amount between 370 and 712 euros, with an average of 492 euros per employee. The tranche will arrive with an ad hoc slip, separate from the salary. From what has been learned, the date for having the sum loaded should be that of February 28 (but it is not excluded that it is also done in time for the 27th).

Starting from the month of March, however, the employees of the PA will receive an average increase of around 85 euros in payroll.

Overall, over 2 million state workers will be affected by the release of salaries. Not only the employees of tax agencies, ministries, INPS and Inail, but also: workers of the armed forces and police (450), firefighters (35), employees of the school, university, research and AFAM sectors.
