The American subsidiary of the Italian company will build an extension of a subway line in San Francisco.

105 million dollar contract for Sa Healy (Impregilo)

After the acquittal on appeal for Cavet, another good news for the well-known Italian company specializing in underground works. Impregilo and its US subsidiary SA Healy (jointly with the American company Barnard) have been awarded the tender for the construction of the subway line extension Central Subway of the city of San Francisco. This was approved today by the Board of the Transport Agency of the Municipality of the Californian city.
The total value of the contract is 233 million dollars and Impregilo and Healy participate with an overall share of 45%. The project envisages the extension of the current line which develops on the surface, in the city centre, with the construction of two new single-track tunnels with a total length of five kilometres. The expected duration of the works is 35 months.
In Piazza Affari, the Impregilo share rises by 1,4% (10.00 local time).
