Bank contract: negotiation starts again next week

Some glimmers open up reopening of negotiation between ABI and trade unions on the possible renewal of the bank contract. It is recalled that last December 31st Abi decided to cancel the contract, however opening a three-month window in an attempt to reach an agreement with the unions for the renewal, under penalty of disapplication starting from April XNUMXst.

With the strike of January 30, the eight bank union unions wanted to send a clear message of cohesion to the world of bankers on the subject of contract renewal by throwing down a gauntlet to Abi. But the Committee for trade union affairs and labor of the ABI (Casl), which met on 10 February, would have opted for the line of dialogue by choosing to reopen the negotiation with the unions. The Casl has therefore set for the 20 February the day of a new meeting with the unions.

The credit association sent a summons to the mailboxes of the trade union organizations for Friday 20 February in Rome, at Palazzo Altieri, at 10. The meeting will be attended by the general secretaries of the trade union organizations and the head of the trade union delegation of ABI , Alexander Profumo.
