Continuum in Turin. The calendar of events

The OGR – Officine Grandi Riparazioni of Turin celebrate three years in the name of the future: from the September 10 opens a month of events for everyone, which will culminate with the long weekend of October 10th, with the event Continuum which will propose, in the OGR Cult area, exhibitions, music, artistic performances, guided tours, debates and educational activities.

In fact, the first four post-summer appointments of OGRPublic Programs, the free training project put in place by the CRT Foundation for Modern and Contemporary Art to bring the general public together with nationally and internationally renowned personalities to outline new possible horizons for society and the planet in the post-Covid era on topics extremely topical issues such as digital skills, rebirth, care for the planet and social relationships, climate and environmental changes. For the first time, people of all ages will be able to enter the OGR Tech spaces, the place where startuppers, innovators and large companies plan the future every day in the scientific, technological and industrial fields in sectors of excellence such as Big Data, artificial intelligence, blockchain, gaming, smart mobility.

The Public Program will continue MondaySeptember 21th (at 18.30) with the exhibition with the prophetic title "The care of the world", by Marco Belpoliti's Doppiozero Association, which will propose a strongly evocative speech by Gabriella Caramore on the last time of life, while Thursday September 24 (18.30) for the CentroScienza Association Elise Palaces e Marco Ferrari they will tellhow the climate is changing much more rapidly in the mountains than elsewhere, with strong repercussions on the entire ecosystem.

It will also start again in September OGR YOU, the training project promoted by the CRT Foundation for Art dedicated to young people between 18 and 21 years old. Curated by the famous Turin gallerist Guido Costa in collaboration with the young Ukrainian curator Sergey Kantsedal, the project is entitled NOVA CONVENTION and is configured as an experiment in education on the complexity of culture: 15 young people selected through an open call at the beginning of the year, will meet per month in the new OGR classroom to discuss different topics with illustrious personalities in different fields. At the end of the course, each participant will be awarded a scholarship worth 500 euros.
