The SIT group, specialized among other things in the creation of latest generation smart gas meters, lands on the UK market, through the subsidiary MeteRSit, the company that designs and markets the devices. The CPA certified product therefore guarantees thedata integrity and communication security against the risk of fraud and cyber attacks. The certification, explains a note from SIT, not only validates the product but also the integrity of the company processes in all phases of the life cycle, from design and production, to field operations and disposal at the end of their life.
With the CPA MeteRSit certification complete the certification process for the UK market, having already obtained in the past weeks the MID (Measuring Instruments Directive) approval, issued by the notified body Nederland Meetinstituut (NMi), which ensures the accuracy in gas measurement, and the ZigBee certification, issued by the ZigBee Alliance, which verifies the compliance of the communication protocol with the Smart Energy Profile 1.4 standard.
