Consob: the three-year corruption prevention plan arrives

Approved by the Consob the new Three-year Corruption Prevention Plan. The 2015-2017 plan aims to define the objectives and illustrate the risk management process, giving an account of the methods used for the analysis and assessment of risk exposure and consequently outlining the interventions identified as priorities.

Together with the three-year corruption prevention plan the Consob it also approved the update of the Transparency and Integrity Program which, starting from 2015, is an annex to the same plan.

The Authority's website states that initially the so-called corruption risk events were outlined in the anti-corruption plan, among which, among others, recruitment and career advancement of personnel are mentioned; assignments of works, services and supplies.

As for the interventions identified as priorities for reduce exposure to corruption risk, the Consob Plan defines a series of prevention measures to be implemented or implemented such as, for example, transparency, the code of conduct for employees, staff rotation, abstention in the event of a conflict of interest, the protection of the employee who carries out reports of offenses (whistleblower), an intense training activity that will concern the entire staff of the Institute.
