Consip: the second tender for digital health is underway

Consip has published the second digital health tender dedicated to "Health information systems and citizen services". In line with the "health" mission of the Pnrr and in line with the "one-health" approach, this is the second of three initiatives intended to support digital transformation of public health and is among the strategic tenders envisaged by the three-year plan for information technology in the Public Administration 2020-2022.

In particular, the new initiative relates to the application services dedicated to Single Reservation Centers (Cup), interoperability of health data, application platforms, portals and apps (lots 1-4) and support services (lots 5-6). For a value of approximately 540 million euros, the objective of the tender is to guide the development of integrated services of the territorial health network.

Specifically, the object of the tender includes: application services (software development and evolution, also in co-working with the administration, application migration, configuration and customization of software solutions, adaptive and corrective software maintenance, specialist support, application and infrastructural management) and support services (project management, monitoring support, change management, Pmo and demand management, digitization of healthcare processes, IT strategy and advisory).

For "application services" the award, for each lot, of a framework agreement with several suppliers is envisaged, while for "support services" the framework agreement will be stipulated with only one supplier per lot.

Finally, during 2022, the publication of further digital health initiatives will follow and in particular the tender dedicated to management information systems.
