Lombardy Regional Council: who made it and who didn't. Here are all the names of the elected officials

Attilio Fontana was confirmed as president of the Lombardy region with 54,67% of the votes, the absolute majority which allows the centre-right to also conquer the coveted area 60% bonus. Thus begins to take shape the new conformation of Lombard regional council, composed of 80 seats distributed as follows: 48 to the centre-right (to which is added that of the president), 23 to the centre-left (plus Majorino), 7 to the Third Pole.

But who made it and who didn't? The electoral results guaranteed some confirmations, but also many surprises, with big names left without seats. Let's see who will enter the Regional Council and who has been excluded instead.

Lombardy regional elections: the final results

With abstentionism skyrocketing, winning with 54,67% of the votes for Attilio Fontana meant getting 1,77 million votes, against the 1,1 million votes won by Pierfrancesco Majorino of the centre-left (33,93%), the 320 thousand (9,87% ) obtained by Letizia Moratti with the Third Pole and the 49 votes (1,53%) going to Maria Ghidorzi of Unione Popolare.

Lombardy Regional Council: seats party by party

Thanks to the result obtained by Brothers of Italy (25,18%), the party of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will take the lion's share in the regional council with 22 councilors. It follows, from the seats of the opposition, the Pd (21,82%), with 17 directors. Holds it Alloy (16,53%) with 14 directors, while Forza Italy it stops at 6 (7,23%).

And again: the civic list of Fontana gets 5 seats (6,6%), the Moratti list 4 (5,3%), Action-Italia Viva 3 (4,25%) and the Movement 5 Stars 3 (3,93%).

Lombardy Regional Council: who made it…

The record of votes was conquered by the mayor of Brescia, Emile Del Bono (PD), obtaining 35.761 preferences. Remaining in the centre-left, he enters the regional council Luca Paladini dei Sentinelli, who thanks to his 3.790 preferences is elected with the civic list of Majorino. In the Democratic Party, an avalanche of preferences (9.249) in Milan for the young man Paolo Romano, while retaining their seat in the Council Peter Bussolati e Carmella Rozza.

In the centre-right he enters the regional council Vittorio Feltri, head of the list for Fratelli d'Italia. Positive result also for Christian Garavaglia (FdI) with 10.329 votes, and Clare Valcepina (5.464 votes). The Undersecretary of Culture has also been elected Vittorio Sgarbi (We Moderates – Renaissance Sgarbi) which however has already announced its intention to leave the seat to the first of the unelected.

For the Third Pole enter Lisa Noja, which in Milan collected 3.246 votes with Action – Italia Viva.

…and who doesn't: from Gallera to Pregliasco, here are the great excluded

Among the big ones excluded from the new regional council is the former welfare commissioner Julius Gallera, candidate in the ranks of Forza Italia, who finished second in his list in Milan (in front of him is the former guarantor for animals of the Municipality of Milan Gianluca Comazzi).

Not even the conductor can grab the seat Alberto Veronesi (son of the oncologist Umberto Veronesi) and the philosopher Stephen Zecchi: both were candidates with Brothers of Italy. The former director of the Bollate prison is out for the Democratic Party, Cosima Buccoliero e Maso Notarianni, former husband of Cecilia Strada.

The virologist is also out Fabrizio Pregliasco, candidate in Majorino's civic list.
