An important alliance to promote the UBI Welfare initiative which allows access to subsidized goods and services

Confindustria Bergamo and UBI Banca today signed a memorandum of understanding on corporate welfare which will allow the 1.200 member companies and over 78 employees to access the UBI welfare initiative of a new welfare program in specific ways.

The partnership promotes the creation of a new territorial system aimed at providing subsidized goods and services that respond to people's real needs. Territoriality will be a central element of the new welfare system, thanks to the possibility for companies and non-profit entities with a high quality standard to participate in the network as suppliers of goods and services, thus enhancing the best local experiences and expressions.

UBI Banca, through UBI Welfare, is the first bank in Italy to have created a welfare offer that is complete and customizable on the basis of business needs, and a network of ad hoc specialists on welfare issues who can accompany the entrepreneur along the way activation of the corporate welfare plan.

Thanks also to the integration of professionalism and skills with Confindustria Bergamo, UBI Banca wants to offer local companies of all sizes a full outsourcing solution and support in all phases of the project: from consultancy on the implementation of enabling factors, to assessment and advisory for businesses and employees, up to the provision and management of the platform of welfare goods and services and wider-ranging initiatives that characterize the proposal.

UBI Welfare is characterized by the breadth of solutions and the sharing of knowledge: indeed, UBI Banca intends to make available to local businesses the many years of experience it has developed in welfare programs dedicated to its collaborators such as, for example, smart working, active and individual participation in volunteer projects and forms of supplementary mutuality dedicated to supporting the disabled (Dopo di noi).

In addition, training initiatives could be developed on important topics such as financial education and awareness-raising initiatives on socially relevant issues, also making the most of the partnerships built up by UBI Banca over time with various associations and bodies that work every day to protect the most vulnerable.

The UBI Welfare service for Confindustria Bergamo can be customized on the basis of the needs of the company and its employees. It allows you to have access to a new health care fund, open pension funds, offers for leisure and culture, reimbursements for expenses incurred in raising children and looking after your family, purchasing goods and services on favorable terms. Thanks to the concessions provided by the 2016 Stability Law and the 2017 Budget Law, the activation of a welfare plan can bring important tax advantages for both the company and the workers.

The collaboration between Confindustria Bergamo and UBI will continue with participation in the UBI Welfare Observatory, the permanent analysis structure on welfare issues, set up in collaboration with ADAPT, the School of Higher Education in Industrial and Labor Relations, founded in 2000 by Professor Marco Biagi. The Observatory, led by Michele Tiraboschi, Full Professor of Labor Law and Scientific Coordinator of ADAPT, intends to promote the knowledge and adoption of the tools envisaged by national legislation which aim to improve industrial relations and the corporate climate, increase the productivity and the purchasing power of wages, monitoring at the same time the diffusion of company welfare practices and the impact on the social and economic fabric of the territory.

The agreement signed today with UBI Banca intends to make a useful tool available to our associates for this purpose”.
