"This appointment - now in its 34th edition - has become essential for all the over 50s who love art and want to be protagonists of it", said the national president of 50&Più, Renato Borghi. "It is good to remember that all of them are "artists ” amateurs who have rediscovered their talent and creative spirit by giving us their works which have thus become a collective heritage. In all of them the joy for a rediscovered time and a regenerated passion shines through. Important and irreplaceable aspects after a life dedicated to work and family"

"Freedom is participation, sang Giorgio Gaber: today this concept is more current than ever", said Gabriele Sampaolo, general secretary of 50&Più. “Each of the participants in this competition has decided to get involved, to rediscover themselves as well as a vocation kept hidden for years. They did so with freedom – an extremely important gift in a society like ours – and with the curiosity that animated each of them. Our thanks to all the participants for the emotions they gave us”.

Photography enthusiasts took part in the workshop "Personal diary on the shores of the lake: perfumes, colors and infinity", with Lina Pallotta, the "Painted papers" workshop held by the painter Enrico Benaglia was dedicated to painting lovers; for those who wanted to practice prose writing, the appointment was with "Knowing how to watch, knowing how to see: the story on TV", conducted by a master of creative writing, Francesco Tarquini; finally, the poetry workshop "The words responsible and necessary for poetry" with the poet Elio Pecora which allowed the participants to immerse themselves in the discovery of poetic language.
