Communication, Luiss: the first executive program is underway

"An advanced training course aimed at corporate communication professionals, to respond to the challenges posed to companies and complex organizations by an increasingly interconnected and disintermediated world". This is the objective of the first executive program in "Corporate Communication & Stakeholder Management", directed by Professor Paolo Boccardelli, Director of the LUISS Business School. The course, coordinated by Gianluca Comin, former professor of Communication Strategies and Advertising Techniques at the University, will see the participation of University academics and managers from major Italian companies and multinationals.

There are three programs that will start from 27 October, with a weekend formula. One of a more general nature, "Executive Corporate Communications" with a duration of 60 hours and another two, with a doubled number of hours, focused on more vertical topics, in “Corporate Communication and Reputation Management” and “Corporate Communication and Stakeholder Management”.

Each meeting will be dedicated to a specific macro area of communication, making it possible to identify and develop the necessary skills and job requirements essential for the training of highly qualified professionals. The lessons, alternating with the presentation of specific international best practices in the sector, will range from Media Relations to Digital Communication, through Lobbying & Advocacy activities and political communication.

“With this initiative, our school, which has always been involved in management training, is opening the door to an advanced training course that has communication as its protagonist,” says Paolo Boccardelli, Director of the LUISS Business School. “Each course scheduled by the LUISS Business School is strongly focused on the needs of companies, and communication represents an increasingly important element for modern companies. For this reason, as with all our other courses, we have involved some of the best experts in the sector, a team of high-profile teachers capable of guaranteeing our participants the best possible training on the subject".

“The figure of the communicator”, commented Gianluca Comin, “is increasingly central in the life of companies, being called upon to respond to decisive challenges for the future of complex organisations. An effective communication strategy is a key tool both for relating to stakeholders and for creating the value of a business and defining its reputational aspects. The innovations in the sector, above all deriving from the continuous evolution of digital technologies, are an unprecedented lever which allows corporate communication to interpret the emerging trends of society and reach ever new targets. This scenario makes it necessary to update skills for professionals who work in the sector and aspire to respond to the profound change in the context in which we live".
