Tyche Bank, a bank specializing in insolvency proceedings, corporate finance, tax credit purchases, and NPL and UTP credit management, supported La Perla Manufacturing in extraordinary administration, helping to ensure business continuity in the ordinary management phase and at the same time allowing to maximize the process of transferring the company assets, concluded with the acquisition by La Perla Atelier, a company headed by the entrepreneur Peter Kern through the investment vehicle Luxury Holding LLC.
A new chapter begins for La Perla, a historic Bolognese excellence in luxury lingerie. As officially stated by the Ministry of Mimit in a statement, 'sIn this way, all the workers were safeguarded and their skills were recognized as indispensable by those who decided to relaunch the La Perla Group".
Ubaldo Soligno, Head of the Special Situation Business Unit at Tyche Bank said: “We are particularly proud to have contributed to the rescue of a brand that is a symbol of Made in Italy, a point of reference for Bologna and the entire country. This transaction fully exemplifies our approach to Special Situations: expertly intervening to support solid but temporarily struggling industrial businesses, promoting their valorization and relaunch. In the case of La Perla, we were able to witness firsthand the excellent work of the Commissioners, Gianluca Giorgi, Francesco Paolo Bello, and Francesca Pace, whom we had the honor of supporting at a crucial time for safeguarding business continuity. We believe this is the true role of a bank that seeks to be an active partner in the real economy.
Tyche Bank was supported by its in-house legal department together with Hogan Lovells, represented by Partner Francesco De Gennaro, assisted by Giulio Piperno and Giacomo Donzelli.
