we receive e we publish from Cherry Bank the following press release.
London, Zurich and Milan, 1 July 2026 – Coller Capital, a global leader in secondary private credit markets, and Cherry Bank today announced a partnership to offer the Bank’s clients access to Coller Capital’s investment strategies.
The agreement reflects the growing demand among individual investors in Italy and across the continent for institutional-grade private markets strategies that offer diversification and resilient, risk-adjusted sources of return. The partnership marks another milestone for Coller Capital's Private Wealth Secondaries Solutions platform in Europe and is consistent with Cherry Bank's strategy to provide clients with access to specialized private markets opportunities through selected global partners of excellence.
The secondary private credit market is one of the fastest-growing segments of the private markets industry, with transaction volumes expected to nearly double to $20 billion by 2025, as investors increasingly seek portfolio management solutions and liquidity tools within this rapidly expanding ecosystem. By investing in existing portfolios of private credit assets, Coller's strategy offers exposure to established investments with known underlying exposures and proven cash flow characteristics.
Boris Maeder, Partner and Head of International Private Wealth Distribution at Coller Capital, stated: "Italy is one of Europe's most sophisticated and rapidly evolving markets for private and wealth investors, with investors increasingly focused on building strategic allocations in private markets. Our partnership with Cherry Bank will expand access to secondary private credit markets, a segment we believe is underweighted by many investors despite its proven track record of providing resilient income."
Francesco Bossi Desiata, Head of Wealth Management at Cherry Bank He added: "We are pleased to partner with Coller Capital, a recognized global leader in private secondaries, which are playing an increasingly important role in our clients' portfolios. Our goal is to offer them access to specialized managers like Coller, who have deep expertise. Private secondaries are an attractive investment solution for those looking to broaden their portfolio's sources of return while benefiting from limited correlation to other asset classes. In line with our private markets strategy, the agreement will also allow Cherry Bank to closely examine Coller's investment approach and investment opportunity selection criteria, fostering a deeper and more integrated partnership."
