Acer EMEA celebrates 50 years: from hardware centrality to a "multiple business engine strategy"

we receive e we publish the following Press release.

In his fiftieth anniversary, held at the Museum of Science and Technology in Milan, Acer EMEA celebrated the results of a strategic transformation path that looks to the future through artificial intelligence, sustainability, innovation.

In 2025 Acer it exceeded the 2024 values, confirming an excellent result in a very complicated year. Revenue for the full year 2025 was NT$275,64 billion, with an increase of 4,1% compared to the previous yearIn 2025, both annual and fourth-quarter revenues reached their highest levels in the same period since the post-pandemic era, despite a global market characterized by strong volatility and a particularly challenging first half of the year. Portfolio expansion, the strengthening of the partner channel, and the increasing complexity of technology projects have made the B2B segment a driver of growth, laying a solid foundation for further growth in the coming years: combined revenues from businesses other than PCs and displays contributed 32,2% for the full year 2025. In relation to Acer EMEA, in the period 2025, Commercial volumes stood at around 30%, representing a fundamental component for the entire business of the Region.

Furthermore, the first data from 2026 are further encouraging: the Acer's January 2026 revenue reached NT$21,08 billion and a growth of 39,8% on an annual basis, the best result for the month in the post-pandemic period, where the commercial component grew by 63.5% year-on-year.

In parallel, Acer is expanding its multiple business engines, operating as a integrated ecosystem of companies with a shared vision. These include energy storage solutions, electric mobility, electric vehicle charging infrastructure and hydrogen stations, smart cities, gaming, apparel, home appliances, AI-based medical solutions, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, industrial PCs, connectivity devices, system integration, computer repair and maintenance services, and other innovative initiatives.

The multinational has in fact integrated its traditional model based on the Core Business (Personal Computing and Display) with an expansion strategy through “multiple business engines”, that is, the creation of a group of companies with a common vision. Many of these are capable of providing vertical solutions in the B2B world, in particular Altos [Servers, AI Infrastructure and Interactive Flat Panel solutions], AOPEN [Digital Signage and Edge Computing], Posiflex [Point-of-Sale, AIoT, Kisk and Industrial PC] and Opticon [Scanning and Electronic Labelling solutions). Thanks to the multiple companies of the group, Acer can now offer a complementary portfolio that allows commercial customers to take advantage of the entire digital infrastructure, from the cloud to the retail counterThe main objective of this diversification is to build financial resilience against the cyclical nature of the PC market and to expand its offering, especially towards emerging countries.

“The 2025 Commercial results confirm the solidity of our business model in a challenging market context complex - he says Massimiliano Rossi, EMEA Vice President But above all, they demonstrate that the transformation journey undertaken in recent years is producing concrete and measurable results. We have invested in innovation, channel strengthening, commercial development, and building long-term relationships with our customers. The growth recorded, together with the strong acceleration at the beginning of 2026, demonstrates our organization's ability to adapt to ever-changing scenarios and transform market complexity into development opportunities. This result stems from the work of our people, the trust of our partners, and the desire to support businesses and institutions in increasingly strategic technological transformation.

For Acer, sustainability is no longer just a feature of a single product, but a integrated and cross-cutting strategy covering the entire life cycle of technologies, from procurement to end-of-useThe company has evolved its vision towards a broader concept of "conscious technology," in which products, processes, and services are designed to minimize environmental impact and maximize social responsibility across the entire value chain. Also fundamental and above all green is the way in which Acer products are distributed. The multinational has set itself the goal of reducing CO₂ emissions in its supply chain, aiming to move from a reduction of 274 tonnes in 2023 to more than 2.000 tonnes in 2025This result was achieved through a mix of innovative solutions, such as the use of electric trucks for shipping. Alongside the electrification of transportation, Acer is collaborating with logistics partners to the adoption of biofuels certified as Hydro Vegetable Oil (HVO).

In line with the EU Right to Repair Directive, Acer also promotes a culture that encourages restoration rather than replacing products, thanks also to the ability to boast a proprietary service. The company has also expanded its motherboard repair program to regenerate high-value components, reducing waste, and is committed to making spare parts and manuals available for some product categories for up to 10 years.

Also with the program Acer Optimize, Acer introduces concrete solutions for companies, reacquiring the devices used, with cashback of up to 55% of the original purchase price, depending on age and usage. This approach supports the renewal of a company's IT infrastructure while maintaining a commitment to greater environmental responsibility.

“We look to the future with the ambition of strengthening the role of Acer EMEA as a platform for connecting technological innovation, the market and people. - highlights Maximilian Rossi -. Our strategic vision is based on the ability to interpret change before it becomes apparent, developing a flexible organization capable of rapidly adapting to new economic and technological scenarios. We want to build an increasingly open and collaborative model, in which skills, partners, and ecosystems contribute together to the creation of long-term value. This means investing not only in technologies, but also in relationships, talent, and a culture of innovation, because true competitiveness stems from the ability to evolve continuously and consistently. Our commitment is to make Acer EMEA a stable point of reference in a constantly evolving environment: an organization capable of sustainable growth, anticipating market trends, and supporting customers and partners with vision, responsibility, and perspective.
